Nothing to add for me today but should have something to add in tomorrow!

Couple of quick questions if anyone can help please?

for all compers that have had a few wins, how many do u enter per day/week? I have been doing it for last couple of weeks and still waiting my first win but not sure if I am entering enough? I usually do a couple a day but not always every day.

Other question is shop and scan worth it for money compared to hassle? I can vaguely remember my parents doing it when I was younger but not sure how much you get and if its worth it?

    TIA xxx

Ive been a comper for years and normally get a steady trickle of wins... you do need do more than a couple a day though... at my peak I was doing at least 50 plus a day... however even a single entry gives you a chance of a win...

However it really is a numbers game and you need to enter a lot consistently to really reap the rewards... particularly due to the sheer number of people that enter these days.

I spend at least two hours per day doing it. I don't enter at weekends. I originally started as research for a blog post (because I blog about making money). I've gone off swagbucks at the moment so I've got time for comping. I'm torn. Before winning this £3,000 holiday I had only won some cereal, wine and a key ring but now I've won something fantastic.

I think like most of the compers say, treat it as a hobby. I'm sure that two hours per day could be better spent on 'guaranteed' money like eBay or surveys, but I genuinely find it fun.

Maybe you could try it for a month. Everyone raves about roboform, but I found that it put info in the wrong place. The lastpass extension has been awesome for filling forms - I've not used it to remember passwords.

I'm not sure I am going to be able to be a serious comper at 50 a day! Lol would love to be but with a 2 year old daughter she doesn't leave me much time to myself! Do you enter them through the competitions board on mse?
  • KayleighJ, I used to do quite a bit of comping a few years back (not got back into it yet but it's just a matter of time!) and I aimed for about 50 comps a week. After a couple of months I got a steady trickle of prizes through, including a week's holiday to Aiya Napa! Whatever you can manage is fine, but like haybel19 said, you've got to be in it to win it!

emmaglet, congrats on the amazing win! What an amazing feeling when you open that letter/email and you find out!

Well, I'm making money slowly but surely this month... first experience of Cash 4 Clothes yesterday, £4.75 in the pot and lots of room in my chest of drawers now! £9.75 for a MS completed last month, I've just done another this week but it won't be paid until later in the month so I won't add that to my total yet.

Just one quick question, on the July board someone kindly mentioned a Confused.com app through Quidco that measured 250 miles of your driving and paid you £5 for it, I've logged the miles but can't see any recognition of it on Quidco yet. Does it automatically happen or do I have to do something else?
