I have a slightly huge entry for today, as I have inherited my mums Pashley Princess bike which has an RRP of £595 and which my dad has kindly serviced and replaced both tyres and treads which cost him an additional £65. This is essentially £660 worth of brand new bike for free thanks to my very kind parentsDebt@LBM1=£4050 1st DFD 27/08/09

I have been averaging £5 a day by doing online surveys. I'm pretty new to it and it is actually quite addictive! I enjoy filling them in.
Not sure if I'm using the best sites but I went through PaidSurveys.uk.com and it links to a load of survey sites0 -
£2 from on device for a survey and £4.90 from shopitize.
I rebooked my flights yesterday, it really hurt paying £500 odd extra but it'll even itself out when I come to book a hotel/reevaluate spending money(she says) I am ridiculously excited now, much more than I ever was for San Fran
going to have to ramp up the money making efforts if I'm going to justify the £500 loss on previous flights!!

Argh my money making is not going well. Being pregnant is not helping matters, continually feel like I've been hit by a bus
Good news though, our offer was accepted on a house. Mortgage on a great sized 4 bedroom detached house with garage will be less than our rent for a questionable 2 bedroom flat. Seems crazy. Need to wait for all the paperwork etc but hopefully we should be moving by November (the previous owners have part exchanged to a housing developer and their property wont be ready until then) So I really do need to shift a load of crap out the house either via selling or recycling.
I have 3 bags worth of clothes for cash for clothes
I've still not sent away my gold to Tesco - must do tomorrow
Need to tart up the second car (i.e. insure and road tax it, run it for a little while then sell it)
Having a bit of trouble with Shop & Scan, the clicker wont work. It glows red when plugged into a PC but doesn't ever go green or transmit. I think its faulty but I'm not having much luck in getting it sorted0 -
It isn't my saving so I'm not counting it but my DD telephoned her car insurer for her renewal and managed to get it down from £815 to £550. So a mahoosive £265 saving by just using comparison websites and asking if they could better the quote if she stayed with them. The end figure was way better than the lowest quote on the comparison site, so definitely worth the phone call.:jMake £10 per day in July £45.48/£310

Made £10 by cleaning the house, generous parents! Counted up £5.22 in change (not sure if i posted this yesterday) and cashed out just over £5 from Clixsense! good day!
My total is so far for the month £213.93
With another 51.87 worth of overtime this weekendI WILL GET THERE.0 -
Well I finally sorted the insurance on the second car. Confused quoted admiral as the cheapest at £321, apparently wouldn't get it cheaper direct. Went through Admirals website, 12 months for £255. :j So saved some cash but also spending money to hopefully make money. Hopefully sell the car for £2500 in the new year.0
