What we must remember is that this is a money saving site.

Restus do make a very nice, hand side stitched mattress at a great value for money price.

Vi-Sprung and Harrison are very top end and as such you pay a lot for the name. Think of Rolex, it's all about the brand.

Really a double mattress for a Grand and all it has is 1000 springs and some wool and cotton.

Or for half that price, [

3000 springs, cotton, wool and hand side stitching.

Not knocking Camembert, the advice is correct. But it's about value for money.

As Martin would say himself, debt isn't bad, bad debt is bad.

I find it odd that you always refer to that particular website that I've removed - I'm assuming it is yours?

No far from it, I have and never will promote the company I work for on here.

I merely google the name of the product I'm looking for a post a link, I've said many a time in other posts I'm recommending the product not the seller. I wasn't aware that I was continually referring to the same site. Thanks for bring it up.

I don't have time to go searching for the cheapest price.

I'll try and copy links to other sites :)

My company couldn't work on the same margins that the internet guys do, we are a bricks and mortar company with the overheads that go with it.

  • Happy -beds sell their wares via E Bay, Amazon and Groupon.

I purchased 2 pocket sprung Crystal 3000 mattresses in July 2013. The advert on the Groupon site is very good but also misleading.

The mattresses I received looked good but did not feel right, much too light for pocket sprung mattresses. However, as we had our old ones removed the same morning, I thought we would give them a go.
We have had them 11 months, of which 10 weeks they have not been in use.
The mattresses have both collapsed in the middle and are just like hammocks.

I have worked in the bedding trade for 45 years and I was also in the returns department for a very long period for a major bedding company. I have never seen any fail this badly before.

I don't know where you worked insider, or what you based your assessment on, but certainly not on the same product I purchased.

I am having the items examined by an independent expert and will let every one know their findings.

Recently bought the above mattress from happybeds via groupon via paypal.
I've received confirmation messages from paypal and groupon that I have bought the mattress, but nothing so far from happybeds !!
Not good customer service to not inform us buyers on an approx. delivery time ( days, weeks or months ) from time of purchase.
I'll let this forum thread know about the mattress if/when it is delivered.

Just received an e-mail indicating the mattress has been dispatched (by Arrow XL)- don't know if if's going to be delivered tomorrow (Saturday) whilst I'm at work or Monday (given the tracking number). Again, the customer service needs to be improved overall (in my opinion).
But a prompt delivery a few days after the purchase is good - happy about that.

I definitely endorse Kozeesleep/Restus mattresses as they are of a high quality and affordable when compared to some of the larger Big Boys. There's a reason John Lewis likes to have them featured in their stores. They do a really fantastic mattress...believe it's simply called the Memory Pocket 2000 which has 2000 pocket springs and a 70mm layer of memory foam. Coolmax cover is also beneficial!

I've had a couple of their mattresses now and no complaints. Of course, they do still do 'budget' mattresses but they stand out quite differently to their other ranges to be honest.

They do a super luxurious one which they only supply to a small handful of companies..9000 pocket springs with deep layers of fillings! I would love one a) if I could afford it and b) if it wasn't so deep!
Does the walker choose the path or the path the walker?

    Lift heavy & squat deep.

Took delivery of this mattress from HappyBeds.
It's a very substantial, heavy and thick hybrid mattress of springs and memory foam - for a king size bed.
Very nice to sleep on, and worth the £300 spent on it via groupon.

    Sock puppets?

    • a false online identity, typically created by a person or group in order to promote their own opinions or views.
"both sides in the debate use sock puppets to make it seem as if scores of people are arguing a point"
The point that's being made is that someone is (genuinely) asking for info about a company, and then in fairly short order we see several entirely new posters who have, seemingly registered just in order to post glowing reviews about the suppliers mentioned. I mean, I like a bedding bargain myself, but I'm not sure I could find the enthusiasm in me to register for a money-saving forum specifically for just that purpose, yet here we have a number of people driven to do that very thing within a very short space of time. I'd be wary of trusting those posts myself.

Specifically: DavidJacob - one post, November 2013
Julieled27: 3 posts all on this thread, all positive about this company (well, apart from the one asking about sock puppets. Ironic, eh?)
    Jammy1234: one post, Jan 2014
Gus127: 3 posts, all positive about this company, with only a very brief niggle about c/s, all mentioning the deal that I presume the company currently has via Groupon.

I guess if a new poster, posting on this thread ends their user name with some numbers, you might be forgiven for thinking 'Hello Happy beds marketing sales person'. I wonder if you rang them and asked to speak to Julie, Gus or the blokey known as Jammy if you'd get put through to someone???
Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!
  • Hi all! Such an interesting post!! :)

I was looking for a set and I can go up to 450 pounds... Which one would you advice? I've been checking in a lot of sites but the only ones that look nice are the Happybeds ones and I don't trust them at all :(

Any tips, guys? I would appreciate it :)
