That's what I thought...they can't 'refuse' anything, can't exactly force me back into work can they?!Mastercard:£450/£700 [strike]Car finance: £0/£8200 [/strike]paid in full![strike]Credit agreement (laptop): £0/£550[/strike]paid in full! Barclaycard: £500/£7500 -
I could plead ignorance but unfortunately it is written in my staff handbook that we are not allowed to develop relationships outside of work with clients for up to two years after they stop using our services. So unfortunately I can't really say much on that front because I knew what I was doing was wrong.
I'm not being funny but if this is a personal relationship it's none of their beeswax who you 'get together' with. I would argue 'I assumed this meant professional relationship not personal' - I don't think any employer can tell you who you can and can't sleep with in your own time.Sanctimonious Veggie. GYO-er. It depends on the context. Given that the OP believes she has done wrong, and understandably does not want to give further details here, it seems fair to conclude there was some sort of conflict of interest.0 -

Sort of....we provide drug and alcohol treatment to offenders in prison. However I am office-based so do not provide any treatment to the prisoners as such, just deal with referrals.
The prisoner in question is no longer a client at the prison I work at, and our relationship started after he moved away, but obviously the fact that he is still a serving prisoner is the issue.Mastercard:£450/£700 [strike]Car finance: £0/£8200 [/strike]paid in full![strike]Credit agreement (laptop): £0/£550[/strike]paid in full!
