Seems a bit petty to me, I can understand not wanting to lug big things about, but not allowing him to take any of his toys with him? When I was a kid, I use to love my Lego and when my parents split up it use to go backwards and forwards every week! The car boot sale is a good idea, lots of great bargains to be had at a fraction of the cost of buying new.

Yes one always pays the other as the main carer, usally the one who claims tax credits and child benifit for child is classed as this.
