It's fun trying to think how to pronounce 'cnoelj' though :D

Well done on the run, and Snaggles I'm sure you will be fine for a 10k in June - go for it!

Answers on a postcode as to how you would pronounce it :D

    Hi Poorbabe,

Wow 18 miles - yesh that is scary! I found it pretty warm on Sunday but I went out early to avoid the heat of the day otherwise I just feel awful ;).

Thats a nice run though - putney is quite steep - did you go up the hill there??

I managed to have hassle in hyde park so it seems like everyone was getting lost in London on Sunday!

Snaggles - Absolutely no problem in building to a 10K in June as long as you have 2/3 slots per week available for doing some sort of training.

Becky - What's this about sneaky shirking? Its not in your style - you're more likely to sneak off and do an extra session! :p

Poorbabe - Extremely well done on the 17 miles. What are you building towards at the moment? Have you already mentioned it?

Sally - Having a look at the progress you've made, as long as you keep the sessions going, I am certain beyond much doubt that your next half marathon is heading for under 2 hours. From 2hrs 36mins to sub 2 hours will be quite some achievement.

I didn't notice a hill but maybe my route was a roundabout one so I avoided it  . On the way home I realised that I can run up Upper Richmond Road from Wandsworth straight to Barnes Common, so that's one to remember. My original route would have been into Central London but I remembered it was the Hyde Park 1/2 so I decided to leave that area alone :D

The temp was ok as my marathon will take place in the heat. I might have to run with my drinks bag as well as make use of the drinks en route on the day though

How is your hill training going?

Rich - I'm not at the moment, but just in case I wanted too...I did fancy an extra one today actually, but I was good (although I walked in and will walk back 3 miles each way ;))

Poorbabe - my friend lives in East Putney up a huge hill to putney common, so you must have skirted back before that! Lucky you!

Yeah I didnt realise about the 1/2 till I got there (whoops), but luckily it was early so I just got lost trying to go around the barriers!

Pretty good - hyde park/st jame's seems to be the place I think!

    Which marathon are you doing?

Thanks Rich, I would love to get the next half in sub 2 hours...
Thinking I might sneak in a 3 miler tonight around town in the street lights. Must make some headway on essay first though, but I keep getting tempted to come back and make sure Im not missing out on anything.

Can you give us an update on those that were elected by default or voted for the club. I am aware that we have missed some deadlines, thats if everyone is still up for the club?
