Plus, by supporting the sale of places to charities at £200 a time takes more places out of the ballott for club runners who are quite happy to pay a few quid out of their entry fee to charity but don't want to be obliged to raise hundreds every time.
It's a bit of a weird way of organising it, really, isn't it...

They really ought to do all the places by silent auction or something...

if you guys do edinburgh i will come and cheer you on!!

Sally, if you want to come up i can put you up for the night no probs... i'm about and hour n a half from Edinburgh but as i'd be coming to cheer you on anyways, it would be no hassle.... bring B too...!!! Me n Erin will amuse her while you run....

I've even sorted out the sleeping arrangements in my head!

check flights into Aberdeen, maybe cheaper?

Thanks Hun I will see if I get my place and then go from there but if I def don't get a place then it looks a bit more promising :) :j

They sure do DD. Is it after 5 years of applying you get a place?? Only another 4 to go then (providing I don't get one this year)

Evening - well I didn't run - I've got some kind of weird pulled muscle thing and I can't even tell exactly where it is - somewhere on the back of my leg or in my stomach  strange!

Anyway, it hurts to walk on, so I'm not going to try and run - didn't even go shopping so it MUST be hurting!
