oh well in light of Rich's latest post - I'm doing well on the cancer front today - up at 8, scrubbed the bathroom, been out for an hour run, and now I've got to move my stuff into my new flat (when it arrives of course) and tonight I'm going to a party where my main aim is to spend as my time as possible on the trampoline!!!!

Have a good weekend everyone - see ya on monday!

You're waiting for the delivery of a flat? :p

    You're a scrubber ? (I don't believe that for one minute!)

I suspect your evening may be full of ups and downs.

Congratulations on the run though - I am mightily impressed by that one (and so early in the day, no wonder you needed an early(ish) night).

Afternoon you terrible lot....not many nails left Rich! Went for an hour run this morning but a slow one so feel great actually. Taken DD to her swimming lesson and now just mooching about. Might go for a ramble in the woods later to get some fresh air before it pours with rain again.
Donna/Maz is the shock absorber a good bra?? I need to invest in a new one, the one I have is pre child days when I had some boobs (rather than the old puppy dog ears I have now) so a bit big.
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Shock absorber is really good.. and are probably worth the money anyway, but check out TK Maxx, Ethel austins, peacocks and these kinda places as they often have them much reduced. i have (cover your eyes/ears boys!) 40DD and they keep them in check, in a mono boob sort of way!!

My plans for the weekend are/were

    Swimming lessons with erin.
Shopping for essentials, cat food etc.
cooking all the reduced chicken and beef i found yesterday... freezing, meal planning for the week... I know domestic goddess, who'd believe!
take erin to art class for 2 hours, do some homework in art class cafe while erin does her stuff.
    Bingo at night!

    Sunday
run @ 9am with runchum rachel
Swimming/inflatable fun with erin in afternoon

All while catching up with washing etc etc, it's really windy here, must be tail of hurricaine gustav or something, so will get washing dried outside!

there was a run in that post somewhere, all the other bumph is just cause you're my pals and i thought you might wanna know!

Right, I'm going to have a really good off-topic moan now (it's your fault Maz mentioning the word 'freezing') :

I live in an apartment in one of those mill conversions type developments. They are all 1 and 2 bed places and most of the 1 beds are occupied by single bods.

So, my first question is, what point is there in sticking a dishwasher in? How hard can it be to wash a plate, cutlery and a cup? Pointless bit of kit.

But, more importantly, why oh why do a lot of these places (including mine) have no freezer? Its an absolute ball ache (whoops!) to deal without one and you miss out on all the best frozen food deals. Essential bit of kit.

If any of you are involved in developing these places can you explain why you put in a pointless bit of kit in place of an essential one?

    Oooooh, I feel better now!

Sally, along with Becky, you have managed to make me feel very lazy so far today (must make up for it later) so well done. Maybe you should buy some false finger nails - it doesn't hurt as much when you bite them. :p

And Maz, there seems to be more boobs on here than The Adult Channel at the moment. Not that I'm complaining you understand.......

Rich, I don't know! I do know when I moved into this flat and acquired a freezer it changed my life... ok, only in a small "I can buy reduced stuff and things in bulk, oh and bulk cook now" sort of way, but it's great. Sorry :o

Thanks to the ladies for the sports bra advice, I need to get a new one too :)

Yes, it's a solvable problem, albeit with a white box stuck somewhere odd. I was just having a whinge about the thinking behind it! We men can whinge nearly as good as you girls, you know!
