Notts is okay, its a great party city actually! Good for pubs afterwards, its a little hilly though (I can just about cope depending on the pace of the run).
Yes if you're in Yorks Rich you wont be seeing much of me (I love being a southern softie) its too cold up north for me!0 -

Between Sheffield and Leeds - all the East Coast (GNER/ Virgin) trains stop there on the way from London to Scotland.
London would be OK for me with plenty of notice to get cheap train faresDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Well you know, I have been to Dundee - I bet there's great running round there (and its direct from Kings Cross) so we could do a scottish one!0

needless to say, i think that ^^^ is a great idea!! as 35 mins from my door!
if a little impractical for the masses!
What about somewhere like Peterboro..... I'm trying to think of stops on the train to london......
i liked the thought of leeds cause it is handy for a few people, and easy to get to for those who will inevitably have to travel.... plus there seems to be ooodles of runs there all the time....
Needs to be someones home turf for pub advice later!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
