While I'm here - my plan for the next 9 months, if I write it down you can all nag me if I don't follow it :rotfl:

Sept 9th - gym opens! Few weeks on treadmill then outside by end of Sept.
    Nov - 5k race
    Jan/ Feb - 10k race
Mar/ Apr - half marathon or something else in between
    May 31st - Edinburgh marathon

Thanks! :D This is how it went, lol:

Set off too fast as all enthusiastic....got about a third of the way there and had to stop to take asthma inhaler , lungs felt a bit burny (yes, it's a word :p) so I walked fast for a bit, then ran almost the rest of the way until other parents were in the way on the footpath. Collected DS, who didn't want to run (despite running home most days), but persuaded him to run/walk alternate lamp posts. Did that all the way home, with fast walking in between. Feel great! :T

    Yay snaggles!!!! well done honey!!!!

Bet Tash loved it!!! Ryan probably did too, but won't admit it, cause it wasn't his idea!

So now you must go to www.mapmyrun.co.uk and track the distance... that thereby becomes your minimum running distance.... onwards and upwards!!!

Did you take my PM'd advice, or shall you be sporting black eyes at the meet tomorrow?
