I have a fab sports bra...made by a company called 'Shock Absorber'! Mmmmm fab name!
You are meant to replace them after a while I read due to the amount of stretching and holding it has to do! I am gonna get a new one after my half marathon next weekend...I know how to treat myself eh!

Scandalous suggestion. You can't imply things like that without proof.

Another bit of motivation from a story today (Again men come out on the wrong side of the equality divide
):
REGULAR exercise will keep cancer at bay, according to a groundbreaking new study.
Moderate amounts of walking, playing sport, going to the gym or even housework (er, what's this?) can stave off the killer disease, researchers have found.
In a study lasting 10 years, scientists discovered that people who keep active are protected against a number of common cancers, including colon, liver, pancreatic and stomach cancers.
And the more active people are, the more they are protected against the disease.
The most active men are 13 per cent less likely to get cancer than the least active men. For women, exercise is even better at beating off the disease.
The most active women have a 16 per cent lower cancer risk than their couch-potato counterparts.
Keeping active could help to prevent 9,000 cases of cancer in Britain every year
Cancer Research UK
Exercise even counters the added risk of smoking.
The study followed nearly 80,000 people over a decade.
So, you girls get more medical benefit from running, although I think having to put up with being called a veteran at 35 balances things out.
Well, everybody have an enjoyable weekend with long runs, pub visitations etc. I don't think anyone has got a race this weekend but Sally is getting close (how's the nail biting going, Sally?). Don't forget to get plenty of pasta in your shopping ready for your carbo-loading.
It's Elland Rd for me this afternoon (a free ticket but it's still a tough call whether its value for money!) so I may need some tea and sympathy later!
PS Maz - Murray is playing Nadal at 4pm this afternoon, so if you watch it tomorrow it's probably a replay!
PPS Just seen the news - The tail end of hurricane Gustav may make that last comment make me look like a prize chump.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
