I've just failed a run for the second time - It's gone from being 'perfect' yesterday to being 'like living in a landfill' tday, although I don't quite understand why - There were one or two things left on the ground but no more than usual. Perhaps I missed a weed or two :-(
Yes just got it0 -
Yes just got it
Congratulations!
I'm about half way through my third attempt, so keep your fingers corssed for me . I came to the concluson that my second attempt failed because I had neglected to water all my flowers one day, meaning I had a number of dead ones the next day.
I can't wait to get that golden can ! (although once I've got it I can just let the whole place go to rack and ruin ;-) )0 -
If you had the beautiful town ordinance you wouldn't need to water the flowers...makes it slightly easier0

Doh! didn't think of that - a useful tip. Because I tend to mainly play in the evening (with a quick check of turnip prices in my morning break when necessary) I have the 'night owl' ordinance in effect. But the good news is - I got my golden can today !0 -
Just got my golden can, first try maintained a perfect town rating
. I think having the beautiful town ordinance helped (had so many flowers
). Currently I'm working on growing my blue and pink flowers, I have quite a few pink roses, blue roses, blue pansies, a pink cosmos and one pink and one blue lily.

I am also an ACNW addict (aged 40) as is my beloved (who is 44).
I have perfect apples, bananas, cherries, lycheees, lemons, durians, oranges, perfect orange (when my beloved gives me some as I stupidly sold the ones he gave me by accident)
Id love some pears and peaches (? do these exist as I think one of my towns people asked for one)
I am hopeless at fishing but at okay with bugs and fossils and have almost finished the fossil collection I think.
My house has loads of rooms filled with crap and I'm loving the mermaid collection room I've made though!
If anyone wants to trade or just generally make a new ACNL friend then please pm me :-)0 -
How did everyone get on at Halloween? I managed to get the full creepy set
. Mushroom season now, can't wait to find the furniture

I think i got most of the spooky and creepy stuff but gave it all to my beloved bf who is making a big room with it!
I haven't got a spare room for it.
Has anyone got a pear they can spare though please?0 -
I have pears as my town fruit. PM me your FC and we can sort it out. Can also provide you with a peach too if you would like.0

I eventually managed to get a complete creepy set, plus the spooky sofa I was missing and some pumpkin heads, which are fun.
For those who like to crib and prepare ahead of time for events, be aware that Thanksgiving ('Harvest') is coming towards the end of the month, and apparently you will need to produce a number of different recipe ingredients (various fish, fruit, mushrooms and items such as oysters, seaweed, beehives, etc) in order to help Franklin the turkey prepare a four course meal.0
