I have a DSi, so have been looking into getting the older game for DSi but I've always wondered, do you need to be connected online to play this game?

No, you don't NEED to be connected to play online, but I think you would miss out a lot if you don't access the Wifi features.

Ahh right, so how much is playable without being connected?


My house doesn't have a phone line so we only have t-mobile mobile broadband deal but its very slow and I doubt would give a good enough connection to play online

I've been feeling a bit unwell the last few days (cold), still feeling a bit ill but getting better everyday :j, I've randomly been playing ACNL to keep boredom at bay during the day. I have to say being ill must have charmed my game play, because despite having to put the game down when feeling dizzy and only playing a bit at a time I've managed to catch a bee, find four silver sling shots and a gold sling shot (they just kept flying over :shocked:), plus fish my museum was missing :shocked:. I've also finished a small project. Maybe I should feel unwell more often .

I haven't played Wild World in a long time but from what I remember you only need online play if you want to play/trade with others, and i think to send and have random strangers receive messages in bottles although you can still send them (although somewhat pointless) and they turn up in your town anyway, just not from real people. I don't remember there being many things to do online in wild world.

My axe broke this morning, so I had to go and buy another one. I have finally got an orange tree to grow and fruit, so thanks for that. That should be all the native fruits now. Yay.:)

I'm not even sure how :shocked: lol, I wasn't even trying to play properly . If you want a silver sling shot you got it btw , I have four I don't need after all .

It's straight forward in the video, I had the problem of getting stung as well before I watched it. Great I'll have it waiting for you .

Is Wild World the version for DSi?
