  • Name and shame guys !! (i wanna make sure i never use them ;) )

I worry myself sick if i dont post the next day, but waiting 2-3 weeks is bloomin bad business which will put buyers off marketplace for the rest of us.

Do these people have lots of feedback ?? Just dont be worried about leaving a 1 out of 5 it seems well deserved !!

    mishka,

The Amazon seller has not yet confirmed whether she managed to get to the PO yesterday or not..so I will have to wait and see. Her feedback is 4.6 stars and her last feedback was ""Received safely after a status enquiry" which I thought a bit odd, but with hindisght probably suggests she doesn't hurry to post. I won't name her as she is a small seller and I don't really agree with naming and shaming, but I have to say she has a strange user name that again on reflection doesn't inspire me with confidence.

I am considering escalating my paypal dispute for the ebay seller to a chargeback. It is probably a bit quick and I don't stand a chance of getting my money back, but as he is new it might get him suspended and stop him conning someone else. I don't think he is actually a scammer though, I just think he is out of his depth with selling. I just feel for the people that have bought dearer things from him, at least I only stand to lose a little over a pound. I will then go back to my strictly no buying from newbies plan...I knew I decided that for a reason.

I have today received an email to say one of my books have been sold, but when I look in my account, it isn't listed in my sold section.

It is still in the non sold section, so what should I do? Any ideas?

Sounds like it may be a fake email??? Does it look exactly like the usual SDN's? When you select 'reply' does it give you the name of the buyer and does the header say it is from "Amazon.co.uk Payments <payments-messages@amazon.co.uk"?

Yes. If I press reply it is to the buyer and it is from Amazon payments! Not quite sure what to do.

    Hi FFM

Just to let you know, it has now appeared in my sold section - almost 3 hours after I received the email!! How strange. But thank you for replying!!!

Is my post showing up funny? It looks ok here..but then I do seem to have some intermittent problems with MSE.
