I think I'm going to give up buying for a while...

A book I bought on ebay just over 2 weeks ago has not yet even been posted and I'm getting a lot of flannel from the seller so have had to open a dispute in paypal. My green met book that I bought wasn't even posted for 10 days so it finally managed to turn up almost 2 weeks after I bought it. A book I bought 11 days ago on Amazon has also not yet been sent, apparently the seller is very busy but was hoping to get it in the post today..and she tells me to chill out :huh:

So next time one of us on here is panicking about not being able to get to the post office the same or next day after getting an Amazon sale maybe we should just chill out, leave it unsent for a couple of weeks and just not worry about it.

It's really putting me off buying anything more, doesn't anyone worry anymore about getting stuff posted quickly, or is it just us on here that worries about things like that?

I got nice books to buy soolin - and I post fast and send you emails an' everything! Maybe you just need to pick the right seller - now which of my books do you fancy????? Will do a good deal on postage if you buy several!

I wonder whether any of you might be able to point me in the right direction for a bibliography of virginia andrews books. I started reading her books many moons ago with flowers in the attic and really enjoyed them. I kind of lost track of them though what with one thing and another but would like to start reading them again but I don't know which order they are in etc. I have googled her name but I can't find a comprehensive list. I know this isn't really amazon related but indirectly it could be as i will probably start buying them again.

I know just what you mean Soolin, I am having problems with a seller on Play, he confirmed dispatch on 20th August - you have to do this on Play to get the money into your account. Goodness knows if he really has sent it! My son wanted it for his last week of the summer holiday - so he's missed out on that now.

I finally got to the point where I can register Non Receipt in the Play system - and although he has been ignoring my emails to this point he did reply to the Missing Item Notification to say that he did post it and has got proof - whoopie doo!!! but he failed to tell me (the buyer) what he is planning to do about it.

I've emailed back to say I want a refund as it is clearly lost and he can claim back from RM - I now have to wait until Friday before I can claim the money direct back from Play (a bit like the Amazon A-Z system.)

Not a happy monkey!

Has anyone got a book passporter 2007 walt disney world resort. By Jenifer Marx, Dave Marx & Allison Cerel Marx. That I can buy off them. the only problem is I need it asap.

I won`t order off amazon , as I brought a book three weeks ago & I have has an e-mail from the seller to say there a little bsy but will get out asap!!!!

Normally you see a few hundred but not nearer 1000!!!!

I think your experience with those sellers is appalling, soolin. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I knew I was giving such terrible service to my buyers.

Once I had no internet-access for 48 hours and by the time I discovered 2 sales on GreenMet it was already the 3rd day. So I rushed off to the Post Office and sent them 1st Class(when GreenMet recommend 2nd) and included a very apologetic note inside the packages. My profit was minimal but my conscience was clear!
