Ive been using some blue kangaroo pouches from postal express (i would do a link but the website is down) for my border-line books.
I wrap in one layer of bubble wrap and then put it in the bag and this wraps around the book twice (normally), I then tape all the edges down. Ive found that the women on the PO counter dont always check them for thickness but judge it to fit as it looks smaller than my jiffy bags. Postal express had a half price sale not so long ago and 100 cost £4.98 delivered so im saving on expenses as well as posting costs.

On another topic, how easy is it to make a new listing ? , i have 2 audiobooks and i havent done this before,

I've run out of G4's and have been meaning to get some F3's from Viking, but in the mean time I have been using up some of the kangaroo pouches I bought last time they were mentioned. The only problem I find is that I have to use labels 'cos stamps won't stay stuck!!! but they do look quite smart.

I've been making a few new listings yesterday and today. It's dead easy. Once you find the 'books' section!!!

Give it a go, great to reduce that pile of unlistables.

I seem to recall someone saying that they are found on the front of Kangaroos, it's where they keep their Joeys.

(PS - just off to check my Ebay account so that I can give you a sensible answer)

Okay, here is the sensible answer:

    http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZredpolymanQQhtZ-1

At least that is where I got my ones from.

These were the ones that I bought specifically:

I'm sure there are other sources, maybe Mishka buys hers elsewhere.
