This method will not work for the volume seller because of the time required (or for most men ‘cos the majority can’t wrap Christmas presents or pack suitcases)

Have just restarted on Amazon again, now all my ebay stuff is gone (thank god!). After reading about Priority Books on here I took the plunge and made a trip up on Wednesday.
I have to say it was every bit as good as other people had mentioned. Both Chris and Clive were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with, so much so am planning another trip week after next. Lets hope the selling fairy looks kindly upon me after my absence!
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

    Hi guys
I need some very urgent help.
I have come home today to approx 1500 listing ended messages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finished being a pro merchant because at one point I wasn't selling many so I presume this is because of finishing that. What can I do???? Please tell me I don't have to relist them individually. Is there any way I can relist them all bulk?? Or is it best to go back to being pro and they will get re-listed for me?
I have a really stressful weekend coming up and don't need this hassle.
    Please help me guys
    Thanks

    Hi Annie,

sorry to hear about your stress - am going to add to it I'm afraid :o I've never been pro-merchant but from what I can gather, its necessary to relist individually unless you are pro-m. For that reason I try to list mine in batches so that not too many become delisted on the same day. Now I'm not an expert on this so someone else may come along and correct me but as you said it was an emergency I thought I'd try and answer. I think you will have to go back to being PM if you cant face doing them individually. Mishka was bemoaning the same thing right at the end of Thread 9
NOOOOO ive just had 670 listings end, please someone tell me there is a quick way to re-list them all

presumably there isn't a way 'cos she later says the following
Well ive managed to relist 70 out of 640+ but am too bored and tired to do the rest ;)

Ive also just signed up to the pro-seller subscription again, last month i covered the required amount of books for a saving so thought i would go for it ! wish me luck :)

    mishka

Would it be possible just to leave it all until next week when you have got over your weekend?

    Good luck whatever you decide

Sorry Annie, even if you went pro again you'd have to relist them manually again, only slightly shorter/easier if you go into your closed listings and click on the relist button.

It maybe a blessing though, as you can now go through all your stock, improve descriptions, work out if a book can be sent profitably, include sku's in the description etc. Maybe only a small silver lining!

I was brought up to believe 'if nowt good to say, to not say 'owt!' ;)

It'd take me too much time to pack like that and I'd also be concerned that the book isn't given enough protection in the post from picking up dents etc. and whether the customer would be happy with me providing enough protection.

But, then again I can't wrap presents for toffee, but when I custom wrap those larger books, they do look neat and provide plenty of protection! I haven't used a suitcase in at least 20years, preferring just to chuck stuff in a holdall or rucksack!

Just don't get me generalising about gender specific habits, or I'll ask why women drivers, who have less accidents than men, seem to have them all in the supermarket car park? or ......

I did do a test run with a favourite buyer of mine and he was very happy with the result. But, time is the real issue on this one, but I'm just so tight I sit and think 'easy-life' vs '60p', the 60p gets it every time.

I'm probably one of the world's worst for this. But, women are different to men (like it or not) and we should celebrate our differences and use them to our benefit - not pretend they are not there - 'cos they are.
