Call a troll a troll. Insinuate and nobody knows where they stand. My reasons for being here are clear: to save money. Not trolling. But evidence ive found leads me to be at odds with other members. Thats certainly not trolling. Not being able to link is counterproductive too....
You can link. You just don't seem to be able to think! :rotfl:
Don't tell me that your 'evidence' is the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 which makes you think suddenly these fake PCNs have become enforceable?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Im able to think. Never been a problem. Yet i wont resort to childish attempts at insults. My evidence is based on a legal q n a website which cities a legal case of a very similar nature to mine. Do you have anythng useful to add as we are sadly lacking useful input thus far.0 -
I don't get this. You ask for advice which you get, then start having a go at the members here who are clearly more experienced than you in these matters and expect further help?
The people here are far more patient than I would have beenOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
The concept of vicarious liability ?
They should have given you the opportunity to refute the claim, and you should ask them what proof they have that you didn't pay for a ticket.
I'd be starting this off with a strongly worded response that they had no right to pay something that isn't valid and then try to charge you for thier mistake.
The company I work for would have sent a strongly worded letter to the people sending the invoice explaining that even if they knew who had the car on that day, due to data protection issues they are unable to divulge the name of the driver.0 -

Do you not read the op either then? I DONT CARE THAT PEOPLE DONT THINK THIS IS KOSHER. The fine/charge has been paid. Not by me, i wouldnt pay it. Private parking fines aint worth the paper theyre written on. Want me to pay? Put barriers up. Job done.
The issue at hand is CAN ME COMPANY PAY IT THEN ASK ME TO REFUND THEM? The answer appears to yes from my research. Sadly no help from the forum and its " experienced" members. Which leads me to ask how can you be more experienced at money saving? "Ive saved more money than you" is not a quatifiable statement. That naturally leads onto the phrase further help. There hasnt been intial help. This makes further help incredibly difficult.0 -

They can ask, and as has been pointed out it depends on what your contract of employment states.

I agree they should have but the intention was to pay before the charge escalated to the higher rate. Good intetions and all that. They are the regusted keeper -although not owner and so i havent been named to anyne. However my employers that supply me the car know they do and so know who to chase for the charge. And it appears my employers do have the right from my googling. Which seems a bit weighted in their favor.0 -

Are you always so rude when you ask for FREE advice ? Your question has been answered by a retired solicitor - how much more do you want ?
And if you want to be picky - the least you can do is learn to type !!!!0 -

I am always this rude to people that say they help when really they do not, if anything hinder. Always. My question has not been answered by anyone except me and my reasearch elsewhere. I conceed good points have been made and guidence given but the answer has not. To those people im gratefull for their effort. How much more do i want? The chuffing answer. Thought that was obvious. And as for learning to type, this is a skill i possess. However im blessed with small smartphone and fat fingers so your point there is mute too. But well done for trying.0 -

The answer to your question HAS been provided and it was "it depends on what your contract of employment says". Only you can read that unless you want to post it up so go and read it and see what it says.0
