Wedding present - is this a bit cheeky or am I tight

I can't believe she asked this. I'd be tempted to send a cheeky bill unless she was a REALLY good friend. Our most treasured wedding present was the time of the photographer who did everything for cost price. The thought of asking him for a present (or a donation in place of a present) makes me cringe just to think of it.0

Agree with everyone else - I certainly would not expect someone who had done all this to also buy a gift.....let alone bring it up in conversation!!!!0

i agree they are asking way too much and being very unappreciative. My sister and I made the stationery for her SIL's wedding, did we get a thank you? NO did she even let us know it arrived? No but she was able to send my sister a wedding invitation back with a wedding list in it! And despite getting flowers for everyone who helped out at the wedding, even if only to hand her her toothbrush, she didn't get my sister any cos they would get squished in the car on the way home. I'm so annoyed on my sisters behalf.0
