My daughter is signing on every week. Which I have been trying to explain since I started this thread. She was told to be signing on every week. So no refunds on travel.0

Mummy thinks it is too far !:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Because I do not want her to walk through an unsafe/dangerous area where they decided to put the under 25's sign on place as part of some no doubt "regeneration project".
Anything else?0 -

Anything else?
But what does she want? She is an adult after all.
Is she going to refuse any jobs on the basis that 'mummy doesn't think it is a suitable area'?0 -
And YOU would want YOUR young daughter to hang around/walk trough a dodgy area with all local low lives hanging around 24/7?
Where there is a JC 15 min away in a safe area?
Only because some pen pusher decided it is a great idea to place U25 advisers in "regeneration area"?
So many really aggressive replies on here I can not believe it.
As I said before, it lacks any logic - the whole set up.0 -

The only person I see being aggressive is yourself.
I would allow an adult child to make their own choices.0 -

She won't be signing on each week. She'll sign every two weeks. The alternate weeks will be attending the JCP for an interview/meeting with the adviser. I had to change to weekly visits after 3 months. I really don't see the point in it, all it does is use up more time.
Couldn't she just take a part time NMW job so she doesn't have to sign on at all? I would, but I have to take into account childcare issues.0 -

She is not signing every week, she is attending weekly. There is a difference!!! She will, if she ask, be refunded for her off cycle attendance!!0 -

Leaving her with almost nothing and me with more things to think of/pay for.
Considering that you claim to be a higher rate taxpayer (!) your attitude doesn't seem logical to me.0
