If you love him so much, then get a room with him... or should I say a room in someone's house.

It's a foregone conclusion that the NMW don't allow for rising housing costs IN MOST AREAS OF THE UK.
Yes those on NMW have to rely on housing benefit, especially families with kids. this October when the changes and cuts come in rents will have to fall a long way, or many families will find themselves in arrears and like it or not will be squatting in their own homes. The GFC used to stand for global financial crisis. It is not a wild exaggeration at all. There are about a million residential empty that is just residential alone. When you include ALL empty buildings including disused old empty buildings of ANY kind, I think it is reasonable to say there are millions of empty properties. ..
It's a very wild exaggeration. Out of the 920,000 empty homes in the UK, only 330,000 have been empty for more than six months. Mostly they're empty for a reason. The occupier is in hospital, or died recently. The property is being refurbished, redeveloped, whatever. The actual number of number of homes that might be made available for occupation if someone pulled their finger out is actually quite small.
So do give the impression that the nation is overflowing with empty homes simply waiting to be put to use is quite wrong....But I have no idea the exact numbers ....
You "have no idea"? Well yes, I worked that one out for myself.:)...I do not think there is any way of finding out......
So there isn't any way of finding out the number of empty properties, yet you've found out that that the number is millions?
