I just read a book about the moneyless man. Mark Boyal he just wrote a new book called the moneyless manifesto. It can be read for free online, and he talks a lot about squatting. Also talks about gorilla gardening and making use of disused things.
Do you mean 'guerilla gardening' or have apes started to prune the topiary?0 -
Mark Boyle is a hero in the squatters world. He has a large following.
When the next round of cuts forces even more families into rent arrears many low income families will be squatting until they are evicted. Then squatting in the next place will become one of the only available options to them, unless rents fall in line with the cuts which they will in time any way. Squatting because people have been forced into it also puts downward pressure on rents and in turn property prices. The GFC used to stand for global financial crisis. Now it stands for the global financial catastrophe.0 -

Wow. Are you actually serious? So the choices are either get a job (which even if every job in the country was filled would still leave a vast number of people unemployed) or go to prison. Hmm maybe we should bring the workhouses back too?? :eek:0 -

The forum title is nothing to do with this Mark Boyle guy, whoever he is. And from what you have said I've got no desire to find out who he is.
If you love him so much, then get a room with him... or should I say a room in someone's house.0
