If you are on a water meter, put "hippos" in your toilet cisterns to reduce the amount of water delivered with every flush. Your local water company will probably supply these free of charge.0

But when I use my debit card, I don't think about how much I'm spending or what I'm buying. I suppose it's an, "If you can't see it, it won't hurt you attitude."
Or 'bury your head in the sand' attitude. If you read what Martin says :money: you will find that if you use a CC properly you get free bonuses (I get Tesco Clubcard points, others get airmiles etc) if you pay it off each month. You also get use of your money for longer.

If you drink lots of semi skimmed milk, buy full fat instead and dilute it with an equal amount of water. You lose some of the vitamins but I reckon you'll get plenty elsewhere and you can't tell it's diluted. We used 6 four pint bottles a week, now only need 3, reckon that this saves us around £150 each year.0

When I was little my uncle put ice in my milk and it make me feel ill. I'm all for saving money, but watering down milk is something I would never do.0 -
