  • If you smoke,change to roll your own.
    For £9 a week you can buy 2 packs of 25gram rolling tobacco (go to a proper tobacconists if you can, and they usually weigh it heavier!)
    get tips and papers from pound shop - a massive saving!

  • Don't be proud and look in skips, you never know what you might find!

  • If you feed your pets wet tinned food, try and get them onto dry food (iams not brekkies) You don't end up chucking anything away and it's better for them, just make sure you leave plenty of water out for them.I save doing this, plus there is nolonger 'feeding' times, I just top the dish up.

    use 15p coke for getting rid of limescale in the toilets

  • I usually buy nescafe coffee but tescos own brand was voted one of the top and i think it costs 58p (something similar) havn't tried yet but worth a go!

  • Go to the supermarket just before it's closing and race everyone else to the reduced section, only worth it if you live nearby though so no petrol cost.
    I've often thought about shopping everyday and only getting reduced things.
