Swim nappies are only designed to hold pooh in place...If you're baby hasn't soiled the nappy, simply give the nappy a good soak, pop in the washing machine and re-use next time. You can keep doing this for a good three to four times before throwing away...no harm to baby...Environmentally and cost friendly.0

When you get in each day/night, put half of your coins from your pocket into a savings pot. You will still have some change around the house for an odd stamp, car parks etc, but you will be amazed how quickly this adds up.
Use coin bags to batch this up into the amount the banks take and pay it into your bank account, then you will have some "extra" money each month. Each bag can be used like a target to aim for, to stop you "borrowing" from the pot!
I have been doing this a few months now and used the money for birthday presents, holiday spending money etc.0 -

If you colour your hair and its shortish and not especially thick (like me, jaw length) make the colourant last twice as long by only mixing half the contents each time you use it. Mix it as directed in the instructions just using half the amount into a clean container or applicator bottle. This works a treat and I really have not noticed any differance in the intensity of the colour, I think they give you plenty in case your hair is very thick and long.
Just remember not to mix the whole amount together, just half (approx - don't worry too much) otherwise you will have to use it all. I put my fingernail on the halfway point on the bottle as a guide. Only use half the after care sachet too, then clean the applicator bottle out for next time.
It might sound fiddly but I have been doing this for years and it really is a great cost cutter.

Check out the local branch of the National Childbirth Trust, they often have sales of nearly new baby clothes and equipment.0

If you are a size 8 or 10 and a shortie like me! buy teenagers clothes - there is no tax on kids clothes - not sure if this applies to teenagers though but they are still cheaper than buying the adult versions:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0
