ive been signing for over 4 yrs and can honestly say ive no idea who my advisor is, or has been. not on a wp now but just show plenty of actively seeking material and im in and out like a fiddlers elbow.

No they are telling me I sign with her too and the thing is I have only seen her twice since I went back and one of those dates was the after the wp appointment!

The signing points say they have too many people to sign as they are on the WP and they cant see the post wp too.

My advisor is too busy and has been booked in fully for near on three weeks come the time I see her so I will only see her I guess once a month which is great support LOL

they told me I was now on a intensive course now the wp has finished. the only difference I can make out is instead of signing every 2 weeks its now fortnightly. !!!

If they think a skilled person can get an unskilled job they are idiots

i think the usual advice is to dumb down your cv and possibly do a training course in that type of work.

To get the unskilled job? I would never dumb down my CV as people would find out and they would ask 'why have you not learnt more or progressed'?

well that isnt how it is here. if the appointment coincides with a signing day they do your signing as well. otherwise you sign as normal on your signing day here. i think its mainly to avoid paying expenses. i have noticed they dont offer like they used to. if mine ever had me in everyday i would make a point of claiming expenses.
you only see yours once a month? you should feel lucky. some people have to go daily. mine seems to want to see me at least once a fortnight when i am not on stupid courses.

only for the unskilled jobs. obviously you would still have the normal cv for skilled jobs. if they advise it and you refuse you could be sanctioned for refusing to do something deemed reasonable. although it seems unlikely as it sounds like they give you an easy ride.

Well like I say saw her for the apt returning from the WP, then the learn direct that was not with her and the meeting with her to follow it up. All that since July 19th

You need skills for retail
But that is hard to believe when you see and hear some of the ones that gets employed
