  • I wonder if the web was around in the 80's if people would be moaning about YTS, YOP etc on forums.

And be using it to bounce ideas around of how to do the minimum possible to still get benefits.

Of course people could still walk employer to employer to find work but instead choose to spend their time complaining about lack of opportunities on a forum.

People are not trying to do the minimum as you keep repeatedly lying, people don't need your trolling

People use forums like this to find out about laws and rights that affect them, they need to know this so that the bad jobcentre and other staff cannot walk all over them
  • reasonable expectation of flexibility would be occasional overtime. it is rarely occasional at most employers who have it. many employees want overtime but they can only have it if the employer agrees. it should work the other way around too.
Gosh, employers wanting employees to work and be flexible. How unreasonable of them to consider business needs and the jobs that are derived from them.
  • Overtime I referred to felt like an obligation but overtime should be your choice not mandatory or something you are pressured into
Overtime as required is written into many JD's. Where it's not, flexibility often is.

Your own opinion of course, but I don;t really know why you are sticking up for them.

That piece of feedback is not helping you at all; they are being lazy really in not cinsidering each application on its own merits.
I don't think they were sticking up for me at all. Just stating facts. Shame when it comes to the fact some people don't like what they hear.

I didn;t mean you, I meant Vue Cinemas.

Anyway, I admitted I was wrong in what I said afterwards.

    Talk about selective quoting.......

Sticking up for who? Where? What are on about?

They have considered my application and picked people in work.
You're letting the side down, think they were expecting you to back their agenda, being unemployed and all.

And it wasn't in the advert either as I said
You have just came out with yet another basic idea

There's is actually no agenda unless mine was lost in the post lol

You're the one with all the 'sensible advice' and offers of help to round here, hence my question. Considering you're one of the most prolific posters on this thread, just what are you trying to achieve? Especially since you are making judgements based on pure ignorance of how agencies such as JCP work and schemes like the WP operate. I guess your limitations and the gaps in your knowledge explain your repetition.

If you are a logistics manager, God alone knows how you get anything done considering the time you waste here repeating yourself in the guise of offering said advice. You really are a bore.

What I do for a living is irrelevant in this context.
Of course, it's always irrelevant or no one's business what your type do for a living. The type that are quick to chip in with asking others then make veiled implications when they're found wanting. If you were working you'd know that it's quite possible to post on here and work, sometimes concurrently. I guess your own limitations and knowledge in selection processes explain your employment status.

Does your employer know about your posting in work hours?
    Stop your slacking, boy
