Only a 3rd of the register will daily sign.. they may use the personal advisors to do some of it.

I think you're office may bring in some extra resources as from the meeting I had last week it's definitely going ahead
    I bet you're all overjoyed ! :rotfl:

I am reasonable to everyone on here apart from you and the rest of your keyboard warrior team
no people disagree with you at their peril, you dont like it and on occasion you will insult in response to a perfectly reasonable post. if people crawl up your bum you love them and say they are a great jobseeker who is no doubt doing all that they should.

    Found this

Seems like there will be 3 options for people

    http://www.dwp.gov.uk/esf/news/community-work-placements.shtml

'Community Work Placements is a mandatory scheme designed for those JSA claimants returning from the Work Programme whose key barrier to work is a lack of work experience, motivation or both, and offers them a significant period of full-time activity.'

  • the subject was workfare not jobseeking.
Ah the regular diversionary tactic, keep on nit picking and ignoring the core points.

It's crystal clear, there's a quite reasonable option to job seek as per JSA and the appropriate allowance will be paid. After being unsuccessful for a period, WP is a requirement of the JSAg.

and this is an example of a stupid rule. one person does 100 apps gets sanctioned. another person does 10 apps doesnt get sanctioned.

Getting over the quality of the apps. It really isn't that hard to grasp that you have to be actively seeking work for the entire period in which you are claiming benefits. To me, that means actively seeking work for at least 40 hours in every week cycle.

Your actually just boring me now trying to twist everything I say.. I won't be replying to any of your further comments. I have far better things to do with my free time
no twisting at all. if people like yourself and sensible advice do us all a favour and stop replying to us we can get back to what the thread was meant for.
  • also the pcs union state quite recently that targets are set for sanctions.
PCS might state that. Fact is there aren't targets, just expectations that conditionality is enforced.

The current Work Services Director has stated: “On the issue of PIPs being issued for not meeting DMA referral targets, I state again that there are no targets set for DMA referrals. We do, however, monitor the number of referrals to ensure that conditionality is being applied consistently across our network. I’m sure you would agree that we have an obligation to enforce the rules around conditionality and that is part of the role of our advisors”.
He goes on to say “While we have no targets for the number of referrals made by each adviser, local managers should monitor advisers to make sure they are challenging claimants and, where appropriate, referring them to a decision maker. It is perfectly correct to take action if a manager feels that their adviser is not enforcing the conditionality regime.”

Its 6 months for me and a week I think. Like I said before I cant see daily signing happening as not enough people to do that.
be careful you may no longer be in their good books saying stuff like this.
  • there you go 2 posts in a row having a dig just because you dont like what is said. you dont like the truth. are you actually saying that advisers cherry pick who they see? i was informed that the infrequency of appointments is due to how busy they are.
Interesting how you perceive an advisor wanting to see keen jobseekers as having a dig.
no that post you quoted does not say that.
    Yes, it does.
