    Sorry, what's a bau caseload?

On post work programme support ( PWPS) an adviser will normally have 2 caseloads.

BAU: Business as usual...clients who need to be seen less often &
MIR: Mandatory intervention regime...those that will be seen frequently

Are we talking a 'personal' advisor or just one signing you?

I ask because it's just occured to me I've yet to see a personal advisor since I started signing again (2 'n arf months ago).
the personal advisor. Seen her 5 times in 6 months.

Started signing again? After what? The WP?

No, i'm still on WP, my 2 yrs is up in May I think.

I had a casual job in summer and signed off JSA for just short of 6 months - started signing back on in November.

Oh if you are still on the WP you will just sign on and not see an advisor till the WP ends.

  • many people are clueless when it comes to appealing.
there is a time limit to appeal and they send the letter informing you at the last minute to give you as little chance as possible to respond in time.
they lose anything you send if you dont send via recorded delivery.
they have bias towards the jobcentre adviser.
its guilty until proven innocent. so unless you have printed documents that prove your innocent you are unlikely to win just by arguing your case convincingly.
of course some wont bother appealing simply because they think its hopeless.
Strange how you've not considered the referals are likely correct in the first place. And still the mindset that someone else should take responsibility.
  • you cant argue its ok to expect one person to work 7 days and not another.
Of course it's possible for people to have different contracts, and advisor may be contracted to 5 days and a job seeker contracted to 7.

In any case you're confusing job seeking with work.

She must just think your taking all the relevant steps so minimal support needed, which isnt a bad thing.
  • the choice is do it or suffer severely just like it is with any slave.
Not at all, it's crystal clear, there's a quite reasonable option to job seek as per JSA and the appropriate allowance will be paid.
