maybe because they would rather see those that actually want to work...just a thought!!!
there you go 2 posts in a row having a dig just because you dont like what is said. you dont like the truth. are you actually saying that advisers cherry pick who they see? i was informed that the infrequency of appointments is due to how busy they are.

Why you clearly will not listen to any advice given because your the jcp expert, are you not?
it depends whether you give advice or say something stupid. you do realise as a jobseeker i have experience of what happens in jobcentres also. now if you say something is a truth and i know from my experience it isnt i am going to say so.

Wrong again.. letes break it down for you...

RE. refusal to accept a job or apply for a job that you have been matched to.

ASE. failure to actively seek work, failure to take all the steps as agreed in your jsag.

as Ive said before even if there are a number of jobs stated on your jsag the dm will not take that into consideration. as the front of your jsag overides that where it says you will apply for any vacancies that you are capableof doing.

It actually tells you all this in your es40 if you bothered to read it.
the first 2 bits are pretty much what i was saying.
on the last bit i have just looked at mine and it does not say that anywhere on it.

has a person who has applied for 100 jobs not done more that week than a person who only applied for 10 jobs?
Not for the purposes of jsa the point is not the matter of how many jobs its that the person has not been job seeking over the entire period. which is what ive said over and over again but you don't seem to grasp.

You mean like all the digs you throw at me, you like to give but not receive. And technically yes we can cherry pick how often we see a customer. your most likely on a bau caseload meaning either you refuse help...so why waste there time or your just simply unemployable...there may even be a slight chance your advisor feels you doing all thats necessary but from your behavior on here I doubt it

I give out cold heard facts, just because you disagree with the process and the info you are given does not make the info wrong

Which again is what I had originally said but you tried to make out I was wrong...and I suggest you read both side front and back!!!

My advisor says she doesn't need to see me hence only going once every 6 weeks or so.

Most likely because your doing everything you can possibly do to find a job, that is also a reason someone would end up on a bau caseload. I feel you are in the minority though when it comes to this forum.

I mean if they're ranting about something being wrong in their opinion, do you agree with them for a quiet life or do you advise them of the facts despite they don't want to hear them.

Do you think professional means bending to somebody else s opinion?

I have to follow rules and procedures and where those are not clear or unjust I can use my own discretion. Mine is a proactive role helping people who are experiencing difficulty or problems using our machines.

If the person I'm dealing with is ranting and raving, I treat them just the same as I would somebody who is as nice as pie.

Are we talking a 'personal' advisor or just one signing you?

I ask because it's just occured to me I've yet to see a personal advisor since I started signing again (2 'n arf months ago).
