That's why safeguards are needed in all these cobbled together JSAGS post WP, everybody needs a day/time off and should not have to worry about it.

I've heard some people assume that "3 hours a day" does not include weekends and their advisor has never questioned it.
I have a lot more to worry about than job searching 2, 3, 7 or 10 hours a day

Lets hope peoples assumptions are never questioned

A bit like your trolling posts need policing.

    Thanks for collating those.
  • what has knowing what it states got to do with why someone is unemployed. it makes you look like a troll saying that.

Methinks they were referring to your 'I know I only have to do this so that's all I'll do because no ones told me different' attitude.

Do they state how many days 5 or 7 days ?

Do you assume that is 5 or 7 days a week ?
    I'd take a wild punt they'd assume 5.

Quite right too, not that sensible reasonable advisors with common sense really care as long as the job gets done.

of course its allowed as long as the claimant is taking the steps agreed over their benefit week( which is different for everyone) then they will be fine.

But I feel she is just saying claimants should do as little as possible over as short as period as possible. They are never going to move forward like that people should want to do everything they can to find work and if they are then they wouldn't need to worry about their jsag as they would be doing well above what was in there anyway, as you and AP007 seem to be doing.
Sound reasonable common sense advice. No wonder you have a 95% adverse decision rate.

The 'they' I was referring to was claimants taking the easier option.

you would say they are all specs? Oh dear

So tell me which option do you think would give you better chance of finding a job?

A Applying for a job that is freshly advertised.

B Applying for a job that is about to be advertised.

None would give me the better chance to be honest, but if you saying B is the spec letter you are only going to be considered for a role if its come on board around the time of the CV/letter hitting someone's inbox.

A on the other hand is a live job advertised and ready to be filled.

I have never got a job or an interview from a spec application.

The question wasn't about ticking government boxes, it was about actually looking for a job.

I think it's extraordinary that you would think that there is no advantage in having your cv in the hands of a company that is looking to fill a position.
To me that would seem a far more productive method of gaining employment.

And let's face it, your ways is not working is it?
