  • why would anyone want to make up criticisms of someone who is nothing but great with them?
To mask their failure to find work. Much easier to blame the system than wake up and smell the coffee.
  • if i have a choice whether to believe someone with actual experience or someone like yourself with no experience who am i likely to believe?

Great so you'll believe your experienced advisor when they tell you you need to do more, when they expect more, when they say sanctions are appropriate.
  • negative mindset has nothing to do with whether a person recognises their own failings (if any) or not. the negative mindset as you like to word it comes from negative experiences of the jobcentre, providers etc.
If they're a crap applicant, don't know they're a crap applicant and perceive the opposite they'll remain a crap applicant because they'll perceive nothing about them and their mindset needs changing
  • doing that has nothing to do with a persons employment chances. for your information i judge everything fairly. if i find something to be of quality i embrace it. still doesnt guarantee success though.
Keep telling yourself that the results will speak for themselves. Of course you'll claim only you know your situation but deep down you must realise others have the gist from your postings however much you hide behind the 'you don't know me' mask.
  • well had my fun ujm session at the jobcentre today. the people who took it were horrible people setting out to instill fear into the group. trying to make out if you dont give them access to your ujm account that that increases the chances of you being sanctioned, so you should give access. they said if we phone you about a job and you arent home to answer the call you will get sanctioned and that if you give them access that wont happen because they can send the message via ujm instead. i thought yeah and what if the message arrives after i have logged off for the day? you can miss a message in whatever form it takes. then they proudly boasted that both of them have no problems at all with dishing out sanctions. ap007 would have loved them. i was sat there thinking i wish ap007 was here so i could watch them giving these pair of tw*ts grief. oh and i was right i didnt learn anything i didnt already know.
Why would a legitimate jobseeker have any issues with advisors verifying their progress on an affiliated job matching site.

because it's giving them another way to sanction you.

If you were spoken to like that, would you go out of your way to help them?

If the government believe allowing access is so important, let them make it a law/rule, instead of allowing us to refuse the REQUEST.

So you moan on here yet say nothing in person - I wonder why?

No don't wait for someone else to speak up when you know they can not do that re the phone.

The same goes for home or mobile if you don't hear it ring. I have no voicemail on my mobile as it costs and I have only payg with 0.00p on my phone and the JC only ever call me on the home phone and I have it with me always and never away from my lap top longer than a loo break or a trip to the JC

No good asking me about the doctors apt or an interview, why didn't you ask them?

If they say it get it in WRITING!!!!!

As no one said anything they are going to think RESULT we are dealing with a bunch of idiots.

and at that point I would have put my hand up and said I have a period and can I go to the loo :D
That's an excuse that even Donna might struggle with.

You've confused progress with lack of progress.

Quite, I'm glad you agree with me that Donna and the like are talking rubbish.

I've absolutely no idea how you came to that conclusion. Please re-read what I typed.

It would strongly appear you and a few others have a very narrow viewpoint.
