Hundreds?? Why would I need to print anything off? I write them down.
If they want the actual application they would need access to my laptop as all the automated emails from say Reed come to my email and therefore I wont be able to print them anywhere unless I forward them all to the advisor and she prints them all off!0 -

will take HOURS to print off all the job adverts if they wanted them and were still active (as their own site UJM adverts go off the site when the job is not active - ask them that!)
Then what else do they want? Copies of cover letters? It will cost them a fortune! We’ve had to remove your signature. If you have a medical condition requiring a toilet you will be offered an NHS card which states you may need a toilet due to medical reasons. This normally is enough to allow access to staff toilets. It is always enough for any government building.0 -
sensibleadvice wrote: »Question is would the 2% that did have done so had they not?
No, in fact about 5% would if they hadn't attended the work programme (I'm feeling too lazy to spoon feed you the stats; they're on the net if you can be bothered to look). The WP is literally worse than doing nothing at all...i.e. just leaving the job seekers to get on with it in their own way.
You are far too ignorant of the realities of being jobless to have any place in a chat like this. Just another Dougie Do-right mouthing right wing philosophy that is better kept in its right place such as in the Daily Mail.0 -
sensibleadvice wrote: »The evidence is they're not finding work over a long period whilst others in the same environment are. Given the number of unemployed, however the figures are presented there's bound to be a much higher number on JSA finding work in less than 12 months than ending up on WP. Perhaps someone has a stat of how many on JSA find work before WP kick in so we can consider that ratio?
How about the stat of 2.5 million unemployed (in reality about a million more) and 0.5 million jobs. If all those jobs were magically filled today where do the other 2 million find work?
Use what little brain you have and think!0 -
No. Again i fail to see your point of being on the discussion, your not unemployed and have nothing to bring to the discussion.
By only accepting the pov of peers who are also failing to find work you're sure to remain unemployed for the duration.0 -
A very odd statement indeed. The vast majority of people are not footballers (or rugby players, cricketers, athletes, basketball players, etc). It still does not stop people having an opinion on their favourite teams and players now does it?
Surely if you are a jobseeker, you have every right to comment on the level of service you receive. Just as a customer of Sainsbury, Morrisons, Tesco of Lidl is even if they've never worked for them.0 -

Quite, I'm glad you agree with me that Donna and the like are talking rubbish.0 -
Jog on you clueless silly old man. Who cares what you think.Odious is another good description of you. Nothing to add on here except spouting vile rubbish. What a stupid question do we feel sorry for advisors no we dont they dont have to work at the jobcentre. I feel more sorry for you being you.0
