Salary search not available on UJM
It wont automatically any job you apply for that diverts you to a 3rd party site. There is not even any log that you have even clicked on the job let alone applied for it.
There is nothing written down to say you have to apply for jobs on it only use the site.0 -

Create your own log? You mean the log (sheet or booklet) we already keep for the JC? :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
It logs jobs you apply for that send your stored CV just not jobs that do not allow applications via the stored CV

No I don't mean log sheet kept for JC. I mean your log kept for your records.0 -

It's also the sort of thing that very intelligent adults do when applying for jobs on graduate schemes in investment banks. You do seem to be determined to put a negative slant on everything that you have to do; I think that you are really going to struggle to ever get a decent job if you don't at least try to have a better attitude.
How long have you been out of work for, and what was your career before?0 -

Don't mention attitude on this forum. The flat earthers in here are adament their attitude has nothing to do with their inability to get a job in years.0 -

I'm genuinely curious to know what it is about some on here that makes them so unattractive to employers. Obviously a few simply do not want to work (they've even posted about deliberately failing interviews), but there also seem to be plenty who simply don't understand how the world of employment works.0 -

I am unemployed also genuinely curious to know why I am unattractive to employersI do appreciate it is something I am doing/not doing wrong. You would think that is the kind of help I would be receiving from the JC but no I am afraid not.
I do (or did) understand how employment works I worked for 16 years since I left school. I was never without a job. However I have not worked in the last 6 years (I have not been claiming benefits all that time) and I assume things have moved on without me and that is what is what is putting an employer off. My expertise is also in a very specific area which there are not many jobs available and although I do have transferable skills maybe a employer prefers to give a vacancy to someone who has done that exact same job before?0 -

The thing is, with the best will in the world, and while not agreeing wiith other pposters that the staff are "rubbish", there's only quite a small subset of jobs that go anywhere near the job centres. This means that not only do you not get to see most jobs there, but the staff will not be very familiar with many sorts of jobs either.
For most decent jobs, you need to find a different route.0
