if you are excused you dont have to sign at all for that period.
I was excused for signing at 1.40pm one day as I was at another appointment but I still had to sign as soon as I could get there the same day.

The OP will have this note if they have been fully excused on their file and the name of the person who put it there.

theres a difference between being allowed to sign early or late and being excused.

You can not sign early as they wont allow it - it has to be after your time.

So like I have said if they have been totally excused there is no problem and the £ should have been paid as normal unless they have stopped the JSA

A course is different to an appointment and I am not making it up

I had an hospital apt for 4 mths prior to them suddenly saying 'oh when you sign next its 1.4pm not 9.16am'

I said I am at the hospital at 1pm and I showed them the letter I carry everywhere so they said sign after to which I said 'I have no idea how long I will be or if I have to have tests etc, can I sing on the way there' to which the reply was 'no you are not allowed to sign early as the system wont allow it'

well they were talking crap unless its something very new. what if someone had something that was 2pm to 5pm and they normally sign at 2.30pm? they would have to let you sign early.

This was in August and you would sign the next day if you couldn't get there.

So going on a pointless (finding and getting a job course) which i was excused from my signing day for has resulted in my jsa not going in today on its due date.

You've more than likely been referred for a sanction.

Just to say my jobsearch has been sent to a decision maker, my advisor says i did not apply for enoigh jobs. I dont see anywhere where it says the amount you have to apply for. So now ive got to wait and see.
