you can go into the jobcentre and ask for one of them from the people at the door anytime. its an es4jp 01/04 or diary sheet as they are normally refered to as.

Why are they allowed to keep saying you must when you dont have too.

incase anyone is interested he produced a sheet of paper with company and charity names on and suggested i do some work experience for 4 to 6 weeks admitting there were no jobs at the end of it,

And you are guaranteed a placement with these companies or charities? Even for a charity you have to have an interview.

    they can be unscrupulous.

unless they have said you must do work experience dont worry about it. having said that finding your own voluntary work could help you. just do one or two days a week.

no because they really have no clue or power for any placements or jobs.

Because the IDS wet dream of UJM cannot be legally mandated, the DWP have issued guidance (the UJM Toolkit) that effectively manipulates claimants in to complying by using coercive language.

Reading between the lines, claimants cannot be forced to use UJM, nor provide evidence such as screenshots from their UJM account as it is entirely up to the claimants how job seeking evidence is provided.

You could tattoo it on your a***e if that is how you decide to provide evidence of job seeking.

you wouldnt have gained anything if you had said what if i cant find anything because they will no doubt have places lined up willing to take people and you may have ended up somewhere you dont want to be. its much better if you can find something yourself. its worth investigating where there maybe opportunities in your area. it isnt just charity shops that have volunteers. there also maybe an organisation in your area that helps people find suitable voluntary work.
