if its in your agreement to look at the papers and you dont put it they could sanction you couldnt they.
But there is a difference between job search activity and job applications.

I don't list what I do I list what I have applied for and the spec letters/emails sent etc.

I don't understand the point though
I think they are being petty as no one has ever said to record what you don't apply for before
Yeah -50 would be what they seek including reasons why I didn't
they seem to think they are being clever so they can trap you. they think you will write down something like shelf stacking. they would then say you should have applied for it coz you could do it, so you are sanctioned. so just write down the jobs you definitely cant do.

But you wouldn't sleep, wouldn't have any time to do anything else at all writing all those non jobs up.

It could end up stopping you looking for & applying for suitable jobs.

Documenting all this for JC is becoming equal to looking for & applying for jobs, which is stupid & counterproductive.
but they are not going to give you that many sheets are they? it would call their bluff.

the diary sheets are designed to record all activity. for me personally with them getting tougher i dont want to take any chances. i plan out what is required on my agreement and ensure it is all covered on the diary sheets.

Ok so under these headings what would you write for job search activity?

Date, Job title and ref #, Employer, Contact details, where did you find this vacancy, method of application, details/date of follow up

What are you going to put? You put all job searches and what you have found even though you haven't applied?

How do you then show all your job activity?

I really have no idea what 'the tracker' is and I bet they don't either

A jobs lead tracker like what they had during the wp

thats the point. you would then say how am i supposed to do as you ask if you cant supply the forms i need to fulfill it. they know most people wont think of saying that and will just walk away set up for a sanction.
