  • I don't understand the point though
I think they are being petty as no one has ever said to record what you don't apply for before
Yeah -50 would be what they seek including reasons why I didn't

They tried this on with me but it's very easy to stop. You are entitled to show your job search in any way you choose, it's your choice, not theirs. So, when you next go in, ask her to go into Reed (or whatever job search you use) and bring up the last week's jobs with your search criteria - that'll be a few hundred at least - and say "OK, let's go through these one by one then so I can tell you why I didn't apply, and then we can move onto Monster and then Totaljobs". Just see how quickly they drop the requirement! :rotfl:

And, by the way, I hope you understand that the sole reason for them wanting to do this is to try to catch you out and get a reason to sanction you. Don't play their game - make them play yours. :D

They claimed a tracker is standard practise but that seems to be a lie

    A jobs lead tracker
A guy claimed its a standard form yet talking to others online it's only found in my local jobcentre so yet another untruth told to me by a jobcentre official
I'll be back to using the official form once I can print stuff

Seems to be for the details they claim they want yet it's never been a problem before
She was having a temper tantrum that day and throwing her toys out of the pram

Oh you need to ask for an example and how you wont repeat yourself.

Its all well and good only reporting the ones you have applied for but there are a number of same jobs on various sites and they want you to list them 3 or 4 times over.

I remember examples but it's stupid to use the tracker, the only point to it seems to be to penalise me after she lost her temper

I really have no idea what 'the tracker' is and I bet they don't either

I think some people have been told not to list general things that don't produce a result like, looked in paper no vacancies,
if its in your agreement to look at the papers and you dont put it they could sanction you couldnt they.
