did anyone of you notice a very strange feature on some boards, say freebie board for instance
after the thanks counts, there is another line saying: The Following 14 Users got this: Show me >>
Sorry but what on earth does "users got this" mean? They got what? That they understood the poster or that they got a freebie or saved or something else? I should say that it makes absolutely no sense unless we're told. And if a feature doesn't make sense, it has to change or has to go, imo.0 -
Considering there is a
button above it I think the explanation is pretty obvious.

a. i cannot see one such button
b. it still doesn't make sense, got exactly WHAT?! spell it out for me please0 -
Its on the link you posted.
Since the post is about a free cinema tickets, its not difficult to work out that means you click if you got one.
Same thing on the first post of anything freebie thread. You click the "got it button" if you "got it".Still rolling rolling rolling......<

Edit to add: i think i can figure out your post now (because it showed some edit, i thought it was your signature and didn't look past it
a. no, i can't see any such button
b. no, i can't work out
i think i can now understand what got means but trutfully "got it" is a slang, it doesn't really make sense - after some cross questioning, like pulling the teeth, i think i understand that it means that someone has bought the item stated in the op, now that is a useful feature but the word, got it, is a slang, imo
i still can't see the button; it is totally blank - it simply reads The Following 14 Users got this: Show me >>
also if they "got it", this is a thread for several codes, so which code, which film did these 14 users "get" or probably it isn't important but then this could probably be why "got it" didn't make sense to me0 -
"got it" will be obvious to most people to mean that they "got" whatever freebie was on offer.
Sorry if you don't "get it".
The button is there as you can see from the screenshot. If you don't see it, then I would suggest you contact MSE as either something is set wrong on your forum account or something else is blocking it.Still rolling rolling rolling......<

Probably because there are too many damn button nowadays under posts and they all look much the same.
That is a good point for the redesign? Less buttons and gimmicks, and more moneysaving content instead please?Still rolling rolling rolling......<
