Read the thread. The OP didn't make a mistake, the shower is faulty.0 -

Read the OP's post I replied to, he is suggesting returning it on the grounds he purchased the wrong model!!If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

Which is why I suggest speak to a manager. Also I have found an e-mail to customer services at Head Office will get a result if face to face at branch doesn't workIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Sure that quote wasn't there when I posted.
Either way it's faulty and should be returned as such. No point making out it was the wrong model.0 -
How did you pay for the shower, OP?0

The installer is supposed to take responsibility after they install it, thats why they won't take it back. Call Mira instead and they will exchange it or send someone out to repair it.
On a side note is there enough pressure flowing through it, most of these showers don't work from tank fed systems and need mains pressure.0 -

They need quite significant pressure too. Too low and they don't heat.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

If the shower was faulty when bought then it is the legal responsibility of the retailer to provide a refund, and the law (SOGA) clearly states that if the retailer believes the fault was due to something done by the purchaser (or installer), then the onus is on them to prove this.
BY refusing to take the unit back and insisting that the OP deals with Mira, B&Q are acting illegally.0 -
The old shower that's just been replaced was also a Mira Max so I don't think its got anything to do with water flow from the mains or anything.0
