Hey, I bought a new Mira Sport Max electric shower from B&Q last week and my local plumber installed it fine however there was no hot water coming from the shower so my local plumber said it was faulty and removed it. I put everything back in original box with receipt and took it back to B&Q returns desk who said they won't return or refund the shower because it has been installed
Please advise??

Will they not just do a straight swap for another shower as that one is faulty?sassybird0

Did you actually explain that it is faulty and not working ? They do often seem to employ particularly thick people to work on the returns desk.0

Oh and another thing there was no security tag on this shower and it was the last one on the top shelf....0

return - not fit for purpose, goods rejected
dont let them fob you off with dealing with mira...0 -
B&Q are notoriously terrible at all things replace, return and refund. Their customer services is shocking.

Am I best just going to a different branch and saying I bought the wrong model of shower and see if that works??Gordon_Hose wrote: »B&Q are notoriously terrible at all things replace, return and refund. Their customer services is shocking.

No because they are not obliged in law to exchange or refund when the customer made a mistake. Take it back and ask to speak to a manager. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
