i booked a family room for 3, then deciced that i needed it for four so i rang up the hotel and they said just to tell them when we arrive so that they have the correct number of people in each room incase of a fire count !!!! they said the price is for the room and not for how many stay in it so they wouldnt need to charge any extra if another person came.
i got a family foom in the new forest for a night in august.. well pleased

  • They dont care how many people (1-4) are in a family room. I just book 4 people every time and have never been turned away for taking less. Why should they worry if less turn up? You get extra pillows etc. Can anyone think of a disadvantage to the customer of selecting the maximum occupancy number?
    Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j

    just a quick question

i booked a to stay friday - monday next week, but only friday and saturday were cheap, sunday was expensive

if i booked all 3 days together then the site defaulted to charging the expensive rate for all 3 days. so i booked the first 2, put them in my cart, and then put the more expensive day in separatly.

does anyone know if i am gonna have to check out and back in?

I have done that before and been allocated different rooms for differnt nights but if you expalin on check in and give them both reservation numbers they should be able to sort it out there and then

I have just found out that you can get cashback for a Travelodge booking. Its just appeared on cashbackjunction.com but not on quidco. Its probably on others too. Paying £3 per booking.

Quidco is offering £3.60 'for a genuine completed booking and stay'.

Just noticed the Okehampton Lodges are available at £15 on Sunday nights from mid-July onwards (some other dates there too). I think a cheap trip to Dartmoor is on the cards.
