Hello, I'm back after nearly a week off line which has been brilliant. Sorry but I've not had a chance to read back so congrats, hugs etc to whoever needs them.

I've done no flying this week apart from dailies. Today I haven't:

    Done the dailies
    Walked the dogs
    Washed up
    Hoovered through or
    Done the gardening

But I have done a sort of big shop and had my mop cut so I am decluttered I suppose.

DD has moved back home full time so there are currently black sacks of stuff to sort out all over her room. She had called me to say the sack were in our hallway, to which I replied, "well they'd better not be there when I get home".. I like to make her feel welcome!

Getting back on the flylady wagon now as I don't want Valli coming after me with that whip. I have done the dailies, including washing and wiping up (some items were from last night) and sorting out the washing (including some left on line overnight). I am a naughty flylady. Going to have a nice cold drink now while I read the paper, then will attempt to make a start on the garden, unless I can think of a suitable excuse/distraction.

  • today's accomplishments

    washing
    ironing
    shopping
    grass cut
    20 mins weeding
shed tidied out and loads dumped
furniture moved in dining room and floor cleaned underneath
    batch of shortbread made

lovely weather here but the flies are relentless and rather aggressive - good excuse to sit on couch with nice cool drink.

I feel as though I have caught up with the house this week and as I live on my own (and should clear up as I go along!) the maintenance should be easier when I go back to work. Do any of you live on your own and if so, do you have any different routines eg clean spare rooms once a month only or clean anything less often than when family were at home?

    I'm back!

I have been sorting and de-clutering at my mums. I am a) cream crackered, b) frustrated beyond all measure and c) flaming hank marvin!

OH has done some washing, but I have had to go shopping and I really could've done without it!

I'll catch you all later folks!

I have cut the grass back and front, even the edges. Other gardening can wait. Going to sit down again and do some puzzling, then cook new potatoes and eggs ready for tonight's salad.
