Halifax are killing me here.... argh!! It's all halted waiting on this.
Our sellers are lovely and have already done the contents lists and everything, it's all just waiting....
I completely understand you here. I submitted via brokers on the 12th June. Latest I heard 23rd is that it's approved subject to valuation!  No Valuation date yet though...…
I think I'll check in the with MB, they said that they'd let me know when it has been booked.
Just heard today it's now down to Valuation so.... arghhh!!! I heard from one person it takes 4-5 days and heard 9 weeks from another. I am hoping for the 4-5 days but not holding my breath!
  • I feel like in the fees they should say allow another £100 for alcohol from the stress :D ahahah!

Anyone any recent experiences with accord? We have just been told by our mortgage advisor they're still considering due to it being extremely tight and close to their maximum, however we've just found out they've not taken any of my partners overtime into consideration (She's an A&E nurse and this equates to £8k-10k per year). Very annoying especially when finding out this has been the issue for the last 2 weeks 😒.

Their website states they should accept 60% of any regular overtime too.

So just checked our application online, status has changed from Decision Obtained to Manual Referral.

No idea what that means, has anyone had this status on their HSBC application at any stage?
I was manually refered on 2nd July - and my offer was given on the 5th (you might be near the end :) ) GL

Congratulations! Hope so 😬😅 did you get a desktop valuation? Just the word “referral” makes us more anxious! I called them up and they said it’s being reviewed, no additional information requested yet but apparently, it’s moving in the right direction. Apparently, should hear back by Thursday if not sooner. Otherwise, to call back again for an update.

    Hi all,

Timescales for my Barclays application via a broker:

9th June - AIP approved and full application submitted
6th July - offer issued and in the post

Sorry I don't know if a physical valuation was done or not in my case, good luck to everyone!
You applied with Barclays a week before me so hopefully I don’t have too much longer to wait, when I asked my broker last Friday they told me Barclays hadn’t given them a valuation date.

There are a lot of people on this thread! I signed up for MSE Forum purely for this reason. I knew others would be in the same dilemma. I haven't read every post as there are so many, so apologies if this has already come up, but is anyone in the same position as me?

Applied for 90% LTV through Habito on 17th June. Not awaiting mortgage decision as such, but awaiting application(!) as Habito have told me about the limitations on applications. I understand why they won't give me a time-frame but it's driving me mad not knowing if the application will be submitted in 2 days or 2 months! ANY information at all would be appreciated!

We're waiting on a decision from TSB,
Full application went in on 22nd with Hard Checks done same day.
Valuation: apparently done & received back Wednesday 1st July
Was told we hoped to have an offer on Friday but nothing came back and nothing so far today...the wait continues
Just been told by our MA that our application is awaiting the underwriters approval which can take 12-14 days at the moment due to the current situation with coronavirus...more waiting.

I should have mentioned going with HSBC through Habito. Thought I said that! Whoops

    Hi All,
We are with Nationwide, using the gov HTB Equity Loan. AIP sorted early on, HTB Authority to proceed granted, mortgage application done and Nationwide confirmed valuation booked for 08/07. Hard search on our credit files by Nationwide on 26/06. How quickly are mortgage offers going through after valuation with Nationwide? I believe ours is a physical valuation not desktop.
Also, do they bother with a valuation after a hard credit search if they do not think you are eligible for a mortgage?
Feeling so nervous and trying not to get our hopes up,
    Good luck everyone!
