I think they are so inefficient it’s unreal. I’ve had 3 requests (2 for the same thing in different formats).Memie said:18 days and now want business bank statement I can’t help thinking it would be more efficient if they just asked for everything up front 🙄What makes me so angry is the fact they ask for more documents (every now and then), then each time to submit them, you can back in the waiting list before they confirm they are happy with the new documents provided

This is my issue. I’ve only been asked for additional documents once on the 8th, but if they finally come back after hearing nothing since to request something else then it goes back in another 3 week queue it’ll be super frustrating. They could’ve just asked for anything extra they need for self-employee people right off the bat, they must have an idea what they’ll need.Creditfixer3021 said:

Definitely. I sent them all my invoices from March-June showing I’ve actually had an increase in income, but they haven’t even looked at those yet to assess them. I have no doubt they’ll ask for an up to date bank statement since we’ve now gone into a new month and possibly invoices for June too. They should be able to see from my statements that I’ve earned almost half as much as I did last year just March to June (lots of rush jobs due to people being at home watching TV and me having nothing else to do) but I just get the feeling they’ll want more. Hopefully just anxiety cos it feels like nothing is moving xMemie said:

Mortgage offer received yesterday after valuation Thursday. Unfortunately they’ve valued £10k less than our offer.
Sellers are willing to go £5k lower but not £10k and would prefer to put it back on the market. What would you do?0 -
Thank you! You too. I’m hoping we suddenly all start to get sorted at once so we can get on with things.Memie said:

Ooh yours was fast! It’s a positive that your seller wants to meet in the middle, but I guess it depends on lots of things. Is the house your dream house and do you think it’s well-priced for the area? Can you even afford the extra 5k yourself? How long are you planning on living there/will it be long enough to reassure you that you’ll still make a profit if and when you need to sell?zv13424 said:Mortgage offer received yesterday after valuation Thursday.
