Thanks! Hoping they give me a mortgage offer by next weekend, I really hate waiting but there is nothing I can do at the moment. Waiting on my buyer to book a valuation report on my house - she is a cash buyer but said she wants one and was allegedly booked one yesterday so i will await my phone call! :money:

Anyone one applied via virgin recently? How long and how was the process?

Had my offer with Santandar through today! Took 5 working days. They have done valuation already (via computer system). I did worry i have overpaid for this property as it needs renovations done, but they matched the price. Have to book a survey now...

6/7/17 - viewing
7/7/17 - offer
8/7/17 - second viewing/ offer accepted/ House SSTC
14/7/17 - AIP Santander/ Full mortgage application sent off.
21/7/17 - MORTGAGE OFFER!

Was a lot quicker than i expected

With Santander via broker:

12/7/17 - Viewing, new build. Reservation fee paid
14/7/17 - Meeting with broker. AIP done. Full application done later that day
20/7/17 - Mortgage offer

Valuation came back at what I offered so fingers crossed for a mortgage offer by the end of the day!

We got our mortgage offer the same day the valuation was done so hopefully you will have word by the end of the day, Let us know how it goes

We have the valuation Weds and Id love to get our mortgage offer this week so the same day would be awesome! (i hate waiting)

Ours was with Halifax, Valuation received at 5.00 pm offer issued at 5.15

Our broker just emailed - the mortgage offer is here. Yay!
