New to this forum a bit of worrying.. I have a question about my mortgage Barclays/trackit system..
Stage: Getting Started: Application Final Outcome
Status: Your application is being reviewed by our mortgage underwriter. It is normal for your application to return to this stage up until you get your offer and your advisor will be in touch if there is anything you need to do.
Stage: Valuation: Valuation Result
Status: We've approved your valuation and will be preparing your offer shortly.
What does that mean. Both things were updated /approved on 04/06/2015.0 -
My remortgage experience/timeline as follows :
“
03/06/2015 Went through details with local broker
04/06/2015 AIP and Full Application for re-mortgage with Nationwide (50% LTV)
04/06/2015 Application acknowledged by Nationwide and initial contact from their solicitors
05/06/2015 May 2015 payslips asked for and uploaded to Nationwide
08/06/2015 Mortgage Offer received from Nationwide
Really happy with that level of service0 -
FunkyMissMonkey wrote: »An update on this:
06/05/2015 - Chased broker - no confirmation that documentation received or was in order even!
07/05/2015 - Received message back saying all that was needed was valuation payment
07/05/2015 - Called broker with new debit card details (bank mess up, long story!)
08/05/2015 - Payment for valuation taken from account
09/05/2015 - Offer letter received in the post!! :j
This was with the Woolwich, who from reading boards on here are generally slow with offers. I'm not convinced the wait was their fault though, if I hadn't chased, I'm not sure when I'd have heard that the payment was all that was needed as our broker has been a little slow on the updates in general (and not replying to messages). But we got to this stage so I don't really care!
Now to try and push the solicitors to get a move on and hopefully we can get to completion before our lease expires!
Hi just a quick question
Is the Barclays trackit system upto date. As our valuation has been accepted and they are saying they will be shortly preparing the offer.0 -

We put in our mortgage application with Progressive BS 3 weeks ago and they started looking at it last Thursday our advisor said. My girlfriend is good friends with our estate agent and she says a surveyor has been on the phone asking for access to the property we are attempting to buy. Does anyone know if this is a good sign? Do this particular BS only do a valuation once they are happy to lend?0

Just head we've been accepted subject to survey. So so happy!0

Finally got my Halifax mortgage offer in the post yesterday (June 8) after applying on March 9. I don't know what in the world took them so long, but ended up filing 2 complaints. In the end the refunded me the equivalent of the application fee - so feeling happy about that. I just wish everything had happened more quickly.0
