I am in the same position. MA has said mortgage (Nationwide) was approved, subject to valuation (valuation is happening today). Does this mean if the valuation goes ok, I will have the mortgage offer? Or it still has to go to the underwriters?

Ours was approved subject to valuation. Valuation took place Monday broker rang and said we have received full mortgage offer now. So yes its probably been through underwritters.
    Good luck

I received notification from my broker that my mortgage has been agreed subject to valuation.

When checking in for an update with my broker this afternoon, they said the status of my application with Nationwide says "Valuation received and under review".

Does this mean I have been accepted for the mortgage, subject to the valuation of the property matching the value which was on my application? Or does it still need to go to the underwriters?

After chasing Colleys for the valuation it is now booked in for this Friday, keeping everything crossed now!!

Valuation done today along with home buyers report, all seemed to go well, how long does it normally take after the valuation has been done?

Come to join everyone. We Are FTB buying a new build through HTB. Nervous wait now. Our timeline so far is as follows

    30/04 - reserved our plot
05/05 - HTB Application sent off
07/05 - Authority to proceed received
15/05 - Mortgage application completed - nothing being sent off to nationwide until Monday though as too late to send it today
18/05 - application received by nationwide

Good luck to everyone waiting on their offer.

    UPDATE
Was told valuation booked for 29/05, which was true, but done for the previous purchasers that pulled out of plot, not us. That explains why we never had a txt from nationwide. Big mess up is an understatement.

Valuation now booked for 08/06.......2 1/2 weeks before our completion date!!! Hopefully it won't take nationwide a long time to issue offer

I knew it was going to be stressful, but not this stessful. Can't wait for this to all be over

got a phone call from broker to say she will chase leeds building society on mon. but also got a letter from our landlord saying they have recieved our request to terminate the tennancy. (which we didn't send as we want to stay where we are for now) so had a bit of a stressful day trying to sort that.:(
get the feeling it is going to be a long weekend and am off work monday so even worse having nothing to distract me from waiting for news.
