We have to fax or post certified copies of documents to NatWest.

Thanks for the reply. Thought it strange in this day and age that email would be better but hey ho.

We email documents to only a few lenders.

The better ones allow us to upload pdfs directly to the case, so they are received instantly.

Two, namely Halifax and NatWest, are still using 20th century post or fax.

Can anyone help with information about the credit search for a mortgage. After they do the initial search and view the history and score, are they allowed to search again at a later date or do they work off the information from the time they searched and agreed in principal?

It's very surprising they still don't use e-mail for this.

They don't have a secure email system.

The lenders who accept documents by email have secure facilities. We don't send confidential information in "normal" emails.

I applied same day 26/02, valuation day before you 3/3, had a few issues and asked for more info but finally got my offer today, I have to put another £600 down which is odd but I'm just pleased to have an answer either way! Not sure what happens next, if the offer comes to me and then I send to solicitor not sure hopefully we can exchange within a week fingers crossed :)
