Well appears they have sorted whatever issue is at their end.
23/11/14 - Applied for DIP online, accepted. Sent wage slips in same day.
28/11/14 - Received wage slips back from Nationwide.
01/12/14 - Applied for Nationwide mortgage online.
02/12/14 - Text to say valuation will be going ahead tomorrow.
I've already appointed my solicitors. Once the mortgage valuation comes back is it time for me to get my own survey completed on the house?0 -
We received a DIP with Nationwide this morning, mortgage advisor submitted full application at 1.30pm, then at we receive a text and email from Nationwide saying the valuation has been booked for today!! Surely it can't happen that quickly? They wouldn't have had a chance to check all of our documents etc.
Anyone else had this or could the date on the valuation be a mistake?0 -
Sounds similar to me, must be flying through them at the moment. Less than 48 hours from submitting the full application to getting the offer for us!
01/12/14 - Applied for Nationwide mortgage online in the PM.
02/12/14 - Text to say valuation will be going ahead tomorrow.
03/12/14 - Text to say valuation is complete then another text shortly after saying mortgage approved and an offer is in the post.0 -

They did the valuation before I had my mortgage offer.0 -
Fingers crossed it will happen that quickly for us too then!!0

We also had valuation before the offer (subject to valuation) I only know this from money being taken from my account and a call from the sellers EA saying that a surveyor is going round.
So my timeline update:
10/11/14 house goes on market
14/11/14 offer accepted on ours
20/11/14 put offer in on new house-rejected
21/11/14 new offer submitted - accepted
24/11/14 first contact with L&C
27/11/14 mortgage decide (post office)
01/12/14 application submitted AIP given (I think) valuation fee taken
02/12/14 surveyor coming to view ours for new owner
03/12/14 Post Office required documents for underwriter
05/12/14 Valuer going to view property for mortgage0 -

I was all set to post in this thread, but didn't get chance!
Application went in Friday, text on Monday confirming Tuesday valuation, offer made on Wednesday. We were porting with additional lending from our current lender, but I still couldn't believe it!0 -
Still waiting for my offer from Aldermore. Had a delay due to my morgtgage history not showing on my equifax credit report, therefore had to suppply a further 12 month bank statements showing my previous mortgage payments.
Been told by my borker that Aldermore should issue the offer today or Monday, but I have a horrible feeling that they wont.:(0 -

Going to give them a call and find out what the dealio is! Also, I can't log into my Nationwide application through their site anymore as it says there is no application open under my email address.
Is this normal?
When nationwide are reviewing your case instead of it saying its unavailable it rather stupidly tells you there is no account associated with your email address. It's all rather silly as you are supposed to be able to track the progress of the application but you cannot do so.
They've asked me for numerous documents that they already have. They are giving me a headache.0 -

They will gladly taken your money straight away for the valuation, regardless of the fact they have not had chance to review your papers. They did this to me because my DIP was accepted straight off, however, I have put the valuation on hold until I know that they have satisfied/verified all the paperwork I have sent them, then they can proceed with the home buyers report otherwise you could lose the £375 fee for a valuation you did not need if there turns out to be a problem with the mortgage application. Be prepared to resubmit papers they already have.0
